Hello, I'm Lilah Q.

I’m a performing arts instructor completing my degree in Theatre Arts Education, with a minor in Dance Education. My focus areas include musical theatre, lighting design, and choreography. I’m passionate about making the arts accessible and helping young learners build confidence through creativity and expression! My teaching approach is student-centered, focusing on growth mindset and meeting each learner where they are in their development. I adapt to individual strengths and needs to support confidence and steady progress. I also encourage students to explore multiple areas of the performing arts, as engaging in theatre, dance, and design helps build well-rounded creative skills and perspective. I have 2 years of experience as a studio dance instructor teaching ballet, jazz, modern, and tap, and 3 years of experience leading a student dance organization. I have also served as a Golden Apple Scholar since 2024 and was named Runner-Up in Theatrical Design Excellence for Lighting Design at the 2026 ACTF Region 3 conference.
