This program intends to teach the simple yet profound foundations of visual storytelling, based on principles and elements of art and design. Whether it be for a painting, a storybook, an animation, or a game, the core of all mediums conveys a message from the artist to the audience. When done correctly, they create an impact felt across generations. I love stories. I’ve watched, read, played, and listened to so many while creating my own. Genuine excitement is felt when seeing creators live and breathe the stories they tell, especially the younger generation as they doodle in their notebooks deep in imagination.
