Screenwriter

Over the past decade, I've built my career supporting writers, showrunners, and executives while developing my own voice as a screenwriter. Through roles ranging from Writers' Assistant and Script Coordinator to Showrunner's Assistant and Writers’ PA, I've gained a deep understanding of the creative process from generating story ideas and conducting research to editing scripts, managing writers' rooms, and ensuring projects move seamlessly from the developmental stage all the way through production. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working on television shows at Amazon MGM Studios, Hulu, Netflix, and HBO. I started as an assistant at United Talent Agency, where I developed a reputation for being proactive, detail-oriented, and someone both agents and their clients could truly rely on. Whether I was taking comprehensive notes in a fast-paced writers' room, editing outlines and scripts, writing script coverage at my various development internships, researching story ideas, or anticipating the needs of executives and showrunners, I consistently approached every task with curiosity, precision, and a genuine love of storytelling. Outside of my industry work, I'm an active writer and filmmaker. My horror short The Peel, which I wrote, directed, and edited, has received recognition at multiple film festivals. I continue to develop original television and feature projects while expanding my craft through programs like Oxford University's Advanced Creative Writing Program. Creating my own work has made me an even stronger collaborator I understand both the creative vulnerability behind the process and the importance of thoughtful feedback, organization, and follow-through. Alongside that, I've spent the past 10+ years teaching and tutoring students from elementary school through college. I specialize in helping students build confidence while strengthening core skills in writing, reading comprehension, math, organization, and study habits. My goal is always to meet students where they are, challenge them appropriately, and help them develop the tools they need to succeed both inside and outside the classroom. I currently freelance as an Educational Specialist with Thriving Learners in Los Angeles, where I work with students in various grades who experience behavioral and processing challenges. I also recently joined Tutor Me Education in a similar role, continuing my passion for providing individualized, student-centered instruction that helps learners reach their full potential.

Experience subject

With a background in television writing and development, I love helping young writers discover the joy of storytelling. My classes introduce students to the fundamentals of screenwriting - including character development, dialogue, plot structure, and world-building - through fun, interactive exercises that encourage creativity and build confidence. Whether students dream of writing the next great movie or simply have big imaginations, my goal is to give them the tools to bring their stories to life.
