June – Summer & Freedom Each month, we will explore seasonal themes with a focus on creativity, exploration of materials, and unique artistic perspectives in small groups with other young creative artistis! In June, our focus will be Summer & Freedom through bright colors, expressive art-making, and imaginative projects inspired by nature, sunlight, movement, and personal expression.

1st Friday, June 5th: Beach Landscape Painting Focus: Relaxation and imagination Materials: Paint, brushes, canvas​/​paper Directive: Paint calming beach or ocean scenes. 2nd Friday, June 12th: Sun Catcher Art Focus: Light and joy Materials: Tissue paper, black construction paper Directive: Create colorful transparent designs and fill negative space with tissue. 3rd Friday, June 19th: Travel Postcard Collage Focus: Adventure and dreams Materials: Magazines, markers, cardstock Directive: Design postcards from real or imagined destinations. 4th Friday, June 26th: Tie-Dye Inspired Abstracts Focus: Freedom and self-expression Materials: Watercolor or markers, Watercolor Paper Directive: Explore color blending and psychedelic summer-inspired designs.
