Drawing on training from the Yale Writers’ and Directors’ Workshops, this experience integrates Spanish immersion with theater improvisation to build language proficiency, confidence, and creative expression. Students engage in collaborative, project-based learning—developing original scenes, short performances, and narrative video projects—while strengthening communication skills in the target language. The cohort environment emphasizes a safe, fun, and inclusive space for playful exploration and authentic cultural engagement, resulting in portfolio-quality work that students can carry forward into future academic and creative pursuits.
