Do you want to be a Mini Musician? Do you want to learn to sing and play a song? Stick with me and I promise it won’t be long! This is an 8 week kids music course that teaches kids music basic concepts in a fun way! Our lesson starts with our class song, the moves into our lesson portion, followed by a song about the concept, and finishes with an activity to reinforce and practice the topic. For example our first week is about beat. We would sing the mini musicians song to start. Then I would teach the class what beat is. Our song would be a rhythm poem that I would teach and have the students perform in the class. Then our last activity would be to keep the beats to music clips to practice finding and keeping the beat. This has been an effective model in my school classroom, and I am positive this will work here as well.

Experience subject

This program has been put on live at several libraries and has set the foundation of music education in the lives of multiple students. This course is taught by a teacher with over 15 years experience who wrote the program himself.
