School's out, and everyone loves to relax, play, go on vacation, and forget about school! We need that downtime. Unfortunately, some students forget a lot because they don't keep practicing. The "summer slump" is a real and definitive decline in reading, math, and study skills, putting students behind the point where they left off instead of ready to go in the next grade. I'm here to help that be minimized or avoided altogether! Most of my students make progress over the summer, getting into a better position for learning. But we don't just study - we have fun, and they look forward to getting together because it's different and fresh every time.
