Graphic Novel Creators Club
Each week, we will discuss a graphic novel of our choice through mindful and creative questions, along with examining its plot, story structure, art, plot threads, and paneling. Then we will have designated tasks to develop and explore our own comic books and comic book characters. Each week will be broken down, looking into popular characters, their history, what makes them unique, and how writers have added to decades of work. Finally, we will work to develop our confidence as writers, ending our class with a finished project that we can share with our class and our community. The end goal is to have attendees build confidence, find their creative voice, and have a finished project that highlights their unique spark.
