Welcome to the exciting world of 3D design and digital creativity! Have you ever imagined what your perfect bedroom, gaming space, art studio, or dream home might look like? In this hands-on introductory course, students will transform their ideas into fully realized 3D environments using professional design-thinking techniques and beginner-friendly modeling tools. Through creativity, problem-solving, and experimentation, students will learn how artists, architects, interior designers, and game developers use digital technology to bring their visions to life. This course introduces students to the fundamentals of 3D modeling through the creation of a personalized "Dream Room" project. Using Tinkercad, students will explore the building blocks of three-dimensional design while learning how to turn their imagination into a virtual space. Students will begin by sketching ideas, developing floor plans, and identifying the objects, colors, and themes that make their dream room unique. From cozy bedrooms and futuristic gaming stations to music studios and creative workspaces, every project will reflect the student's individual interests and personality. Throughout the course, students will develop essential technical skills used by professional designers and digital artists. They will learn how to manipulate basic shapes using tools such as move, scale, rotate, and align. As their confidence grows, students will explore drawing with vertices, creating custom objects, modifying colors, importing and creating assets, and organizing complex scenes. Lessons are designed to balance technical instruction with creative exploration, allowing students to build both confidence and artistic expression.

Experience subject

The class centers around strengthening the scholar's knowledge of Digital Art. The scholar will learn basic 3D modeling skills as well as learn about various elements of art.
