A Small Group Learning Adventure for Ages 3 to 6 Groups of up to 5 children Welcome, young explorers! Curious Frog has discovered something exciting at the Frog Pond, and he needs a team of young explorers to help him investigate. During this interactive adventure, children will meet Curious Frog, learn about his world and friends, and begin their own journey as Frog Pond Explorers. This experience introduces children to the Frog Pond through storytelling, observation, hands-on exploration, and playful challenges. Children will use their curiosity to look closely, ask questions, make observations, and discover what might be hiding around the pond. What We'll Explore During our adventure, children may: * Meet Curious Frog and learn about his role as an explorer * Discover the Frog Pond and the places within his world * Meet some of Curious Frog's friends * Learn what it means to be a Frog Pond Explorer * Practice careful observation * Search for colors, shapes, patterns, and objects * Sort and classify items * Count and compare objects * Talk about what they notice * Make predictions and share ideas * Complete a simple Frog Pond Explorer challenge * Begin thinking like a scientist, explorer, and problem-solver

Become a Frog Pond Explorer Children will be encouraged to use their senses and curiosity throughout the experience. We might ask: "What do you notice?" "What do you think we will find?" "How are these objects alike?" "What would you like to investigate?" "What do you think Curious Frog should explore next?" There isn't always one right answer. Children are encouraged to observe, wonder, make predictions, and share their thinking. Hands-On Explorer Materials Families can choose to use the Curious Frog Explorer Kit during the session for an even more interactive experience. A simple household version can be used.
