This class explores writing as an interdisciplinary and deeply personal practice refined through introspection, experimentation, and creativity. Each session will focus on a specific form of writing chosen by the student, including but not limited to: Prose fiction: focused on character development, worldbuilding, and expressing the self through narrative. Poetry​/​Songwriting: focused on formal choices such as syntax, structure, rhyme, rhythm, and sound. Scriptwriting: focused on visual storytelling, narrative cohesion, dialogue, and formatting. Through generative prompts, literature review, discussion, and workshop critique, students will strengthen their creative voice while cultivating artistic curiosity, confidence, and discipline.
