Abbie is an accomplished is a versatile, consistent and highly technical aerial acrobat, dancer & circus artist. Her aerial work encompasses most apparatus: straps, cordé lissé, tissué, trapeze, spiral, pole, lyra, harness etc. Abbie is also a trained dancer with ground cirque skills ie. hand-balancing, acrobatics & fire​/​prop manipulation. Her professional experience ranges wide: from creating the majority of aerial choreography at Carnival Cruise Line (CCL) to performing aerial acrobatics (spiral, straps and flying pole) at Disneyland Paris. Apart from long contracts, she performs a multitude of solo & duo acts: touring & ensemble productions, event entertainment, TV​/​film stunts, resident shows, modeling, acting, singing etc. Notable companies she has worked with include Fox Entertainment, On the Fly Productions, C.C. Calouche, TAIT Automation, Quixotic Fusion, MeowWolf, & more. Abbie’s education includes the study of engineering at University of Colorado, acquiring a degree in Community & Public Health and attending Frequent Flyers Productions (aerial dance) Pro Track. Abbie continues to grow her circus & dance education by taking workshops, engaging mentors and training around the world. Currently, Abbie is finishing a 7-month contract at Disneyland Paris; after taking a break from her role as the primary aerial choreographer and trainer for CCL Center Stage. Abbie has been an essential part in the execution and creation of complex 3D flying effects: programming wench automation & cuing in large, immersive & unique show environments. Abbie is a leader in the training, rehearsal & installation of professional aerialists and dancers. Her depth as a coach is a reflection of her high technical skill and professionalism as performer.
