A gentle, creative experience where children can explore art, relaxation, and self-expression in a calm and supportive environment. This one-on-one experience combines the soothing practice of Reiki with creative art-making, giving children an opportunity to slow down, explore their imagination, and express themselves through color, texture, and creativity. Each session is tailored to the individual child. We may begin with a short, age-appropriate relaxation activity before moving into an art project inspired by how they are feeling, what they imagine, or simply what they would like to create that day. Reiki is offered as a gentle, non-invasive energy-based relaxation practice. Children are never required to participate in Reiki, and the experience can be adapted to their comfort level. Reiki may be offered through hands-off technique The art portion is intentionally open-ended. There is no "right" way to create, and children are encouraged to experiment, make choices, tell stories, and let their imaginations lead the way. What children can explore: Creative self-expression Imagination and storytelling Mindful relaxation Color, texture, and different art materials Confidence through creative choice-making A calm space to slow down and recharge What to expect: Each session lasts approximately 60 minutes and is designed for one child at a time. We'll spend time getting comfortable, exploring a simple relaxation practice, and creating an art project together. The exact activity will vary based on the child's interests, age, and comfort level. No previous art experience is needed, and children do not need to have any experience with Reiki. My goal is not to create a perfect piece of artwork. It's to create a meaningful experience where a child can feel comfortable, curious, creative, and proud of what they discover along the way.
