Hello, I'm Joshua V.

Creativity, storytelling, and meaningful experiences are at the heart of everything I do. I’m an educator, creative storyteller, Dungeon Master, small business owner, and farmer with a passion for helping children discover their imagination, build confidence, and experience the joy of learning through play. My educational background includes Associate degrees in Humanities and Liberal Arts from Onondaga Community College, along with additional training in child psychology and mental wellness practices through Coursera. I am also a certified Reiki practitioner and have pursued training in a variety of holistic and creative disciplines. For many years, I have worked with storytelling, fantasy worldbuilding, mythology, folklore, and tabletop roleplaying games. As a Dungeon Master, I create immersive adventures that encourage children and families to practice creativity, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and self-expression all while having fun and making memories together. Being a small business owner and farmer has also given me a deep appreciation for hands-on learning, nature, responsibility, and the value of community. I love finding ways to turn everyday experiences into opportunities for curiosity and discovery. My background in spiritual and holistic practices, including Reiki, tarot, nature-based spirituality, and shamanic traditions, has further shaped my appreciation for storytelling, symbolism, personal growth, and the many ways people make meaning of the world around them. When I create an experience for children, my goal is to make it welcoming, imaginative, age-appropriate, and inclusive. Whether we're exploring a fantasy world, creating a story, solving a mystery, learning about nature, or simply letting our imaginations run wild, I want every child to feel comfortable being themselves and excited to participate. I believe children learn some of life's most important lessons when they are given the freedom to wonder, create, ask questions, and explore. My hope is to provide experiences that spark that sense of wonder while helping children build confidence, curiosity, and lasting memories.
