Introduction to Film 101 is a fun, beginner-friendly experience for aspiring filmmakers, storytellers, and anyone who loves movies and wants to learn how they’re made. Students will get an introduction to the filmmaking process while exploring the different creative roles that bring a film to life. We’ll look at how filmmakers develop ideas, create stories, build characters, plan scenes, work with cameras, and bring everything together through editing. With my professional experience in the film industry and background teaching film to 8th, 9th, and 12th grade students, I’ll make the filmmaking process approachable, creative, and exciting.
