Hello, I'm Danny.

Hi, I’m Danielle Bedney, a filmmaker, writer, creative producer, and film educator with professional experience in the film industry and a passion for helping young people discover their creative voice. I have a background in Film Production and have worked across filmmaking, writing, production, creative development, and storytelling. I’ve also had the opportunity to teach film to 8th, 9th, and 12th grade students, helping young people explore filmmaking and understand how an idea can grow from a concept into a finished story. My teaching approach combines real-world film industry experience with a fun, supportive, and hands-on learning environment. Students can explore screenwriting, character development, storytelling, directing, visual storytelling, filmmaking, and creative world-building while developing the confidence to share their ideas. I especially love working with young creatives who have big imaginations and lots of stories to tell. Whether a student dreams of becoming a filmmaker or writer, wants to learn how movies are made, or simply wants to explore storytelling as a creative outlet, I want them to leave my classes feeling inspired and empowered to create. I believe every young person has a story worth telling, and sometimes they just need the right person to help them bring it to life.
