My passion for teaching began long before I started creating art professionally. I began my college education pursuing a teaching degree before earning my Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Natural Science. Throughout high school and college, I had the opportunity to shadow countless teachers in various grades, where I learned how meaningful a supportive classroom environment can be for a child’s growth. Those experiences reinforced something I have always believed: “Teachers help shape the minds of the next generation.” They have the ability to inspire curiosity, build confidence, and encourage children to discover who they are. As the artist behind Pure Self Creations, I bring that same philosophy into every lesson. Art is more than creating something beautiful—it’s an opportunity for children to think creatively, solve problems, express their emotions, and develop confidence in their own ideas. One of the things I love most about children is their ability to be unapologetically themselves. Their imagination is limitless, and I believe it deserves to be nurtured rather than restricted. My goal is to provide a safe, encouraging, and judgment-free space where every child feels comfortable exploring their creativity, learning through trial and error, asking questions, and discovering what they’re capable of creating.

Mindful Art & Self-Expression Your child is naturally creative—my goal is to help them keep it that way. Inspired by my own journey as a geometric artist, this class invites children to slow down, observe the beauty in patterns, and discover that art is about so much more than creating something beautiful its an expression of theirselves. Through drawing, painting, mixed media, and hands-on creative projects, students will explore shape, color, texture, and design while learning to express themselves in their own unique way through the medium of their choice. Every lesson encourages curiosity, imagination, and creative thinking rather than perfection. Children will strengthen their problem-solving skills, confidence, and artistic abilities while discovering that there is no single “right” way to create. Instead of simply copying an example, they’ll be encouraged to make follow their own curiosity, explore new ideas, and trust their own creativity. My goal is to create a safe, encouraging environment where every child feels comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and embracing their individuality. I hope each student leaves not only with artwork they’re proud of, but with greater confidence in themselves and a deeper appreciation for the creativity they already possess.
