Hello, I'm Ashley.

Hi! I’m Ashley, an artist, educator, and lifelong creative with a passion for helping children discover the joy of self-expression through art. My journey began with a love for teaching. I started my college education pursuing a teaching degree before earning my Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Natural Science. Along the way, I had the opportunity to shadow countless teachers in various grades, where I witnessed firsthand the incredible impact a supportive teacher can have on a child’s confidence and growth. As the artist behind Pure Self Creations, my work is inspired by the beauty of geometry, patterns, and the natural world. I believe art is more than something we create—it’s a way to slow down, explore ideas, solve problems, and better understand ourselves. Children have an incredible ability to see the world with curiosity and imagination. My goal is to nurture those qualities by creating a safe, encouraging space where they feel free to ask questions, make mistakes, think creatively, and be unapologetically themselves.
