Hello, I'm Mila.

Jamila Smith is a 27-year-old female residing in Michigan. She's been an artist since the age of 4 and been legally blind for longer. Shy buy passionate, awkward but compassionate to others, and loves to help others when it comes to creativity. Having had her own pieces of art in the DIA at 6 and 15, self-published her own books, attended Art Hop in Kalamazoo, and did it all because she loves the pure, untethered construction of what it means to do art and be an artist. I want to do more than teach, I want to help others see that they have the ability to create art, believe in their own skill sets, and show them that anyone can make art. No matter how many times others tell them or they tell themselves that they have no skill.
