Hello, I'm Amy Trent, M.F.A..

I’m an award-winning filmmaker and longtime educator who built a high-school TV studio and radio station, coached dancers for years, and taught career & media pathways to students. I’ve worked with national partners like PBS and ESPN through student media programs, and I still produce film and creative work through my company, Blue Praha Productions. I’m at my best helping young people find their voice — on camera, on stage, or when they’re figuring out what they’re good at. Sessions are encouraging, practical, and hands-on. No intimidation, no “gotcha” critiques — just real skills and confidence. I teach online, set clear goals for each session, and adapt to each student’s age and comfort level.
