Hello, I'm J.Ruff.

I am a passionate educator dedicated to helping every student discover their strengths, build confidence, and succeed. With extensive experience in elementary and special education, I have worked with students across a wide range of academic, developmental, behavioral, and learning needs. My teaching approach focuses on creating engaging, inclusive, and supportive learning environments where students feel valued and motivated to participate. I use differentiated instruction, visual supports, hands-on learning, collaboration, and individualized strategies to help students access the curriculum and demonstrate what they know. I enjoy teaching ELA, mathematics, science, STEAM, and enrichment activities, and I especially enjoy creating opportunities for students to explore, ask questions, solve problems, and learn through meaningful experiences. I believe that every student can learn when given the right support, encouragement, and opportunity. My goal as an educator is to inspire curiosity, build confidence, and make a positive difference in the lives of the students I serve.
