Hello, I'm Ms. Zakiya.

Hello Everyone! My name is Ms. Zakiya and I’m very very very excited to be your tutor for this year and beyond! My teaching experience spans across all things art and English in subject such as Essay Writing, English Language, Grammar, Comprehension, and Art Studies. I have been a substitute teacher for about 4 years working with a variety of K-12 students across 3 states (California, Maryland, and Washington DC). My approach to teaching is to pour into you and provide as much information as I can while also encouraging you to maintain a healthy balance in your expectations for yourself.
