Hello, I'm NYC Audition Coach.

Steven J. West is an NYC based actor, theatremaker, and the Artistic Director of NYC College Audition Coach. As an actor he’s been seen on stages in NYC and across the country, performing everything from Shel Silverstein to Shakespeare! His students have appeared in Broadway and national touring productions, including Mean Girls, Gypsy, Matilda, Billy Elliot, A Christmas Story, and The Music Man. He has successfully guided students to acceptance into some of the country's most prestigious training programs, such as the University of Michigan, Baldwin Wallace University, Penn State, Ithaca College, The Boston Conservatory at Berklee, Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, and more! Steven has had the privilege of sharing his passion for theatre with students, from Pre-K to graduate level, in various educational settings across the US. In 2019, he was honored for his work with students on the autism spectrum as a part of Arts for Autism, an annual Broadway benefit concert. Steven holds a BFA in Acting from Wayne State University and is a graduate of the American Studio at the Moscow Art Theatre School (MXAT).
