🎻 Hi, I’m Ai! I’m a professional violinist, creative musician, and passionate teacher who loves helping people discover the joy of music. With more than 6 years of teaching experience and a Master’s degree in Classical Violin Performance from the Royal Conservatory of Ghent (Belgium), I teach students of all ages—from young children taking their first musical steps to adults pursuing a lifelong dream. My musical journey has taken me through both the classical and creative worlds. As a classical violinist, I have performed with orchestras in Belgium, Germany, and Japan, including the Mannheimer Philharmoniker, Youth Orchestra Flanders, Chamber Philharmonic Tokyo, and La Chapelle Sauvage. These experiences have given me a deep understanding of ensemble playing, musical discipline, and artistic excellence. At the same time, I am passionate about improvisation and creative expression. I have performed solo improvisation concerts in contemporary art settings, collaborated with improvisation groups such as Troika in Ghent, and participated in performances at Flagey in Brussels. Exploring music beyond written notes has taught me that music is not only about playing the right notes—it’s about listening, exploring, communicating, and expressing yourself. In my lessons, I create a relaxed and encouraging atmosphere where students can build strong technical skills while also developing confidence, creativity, and musical freedom. I believe everyone can learn music, and every student has their own unique way of connecting with music.
