Hello, I'm Mr. Avery Rabon.

My name is Mr. Avery Rabon, and I’m so excited to become a part of Wimzee as a new private voice, guitar, and music theory teacher. I’m a full time choir director at the high school level looking to help students take their musical skills to the next level on weekends. Choir is the family business at this point - my father was a high school director, and my brother is also a director. I’m entering my ninth year teaching after graduating from the University of Houston with a degree in music education. My passion for Choir has always been the foundation of my life, and I’m thrilled to take my vocal expertise to private lessons or online tutoring. I have a rescue dog named Minnie, and enjoy playing videogames, guitar, and binge watching the latest hits on streaming services. I’m also an avid Houston sports fan…. (Go Stros!) I can’t wait to get started making music in such an outstanding community!
