Hello, I'm Dr. Bailey Ehrgott.

Hi, I'm Dr. Bailey Ehrgott! I'm a guitarist, educator, and lifelong music lover passionate about helping students build confidence, creativity, and a lasting connection to music. I earned my bachelor's and master's degrees from Berklee College of Music and my Doctor of Musical Arts in Jazz Studies from the University of North Texas. Throughout my career, I've taught students of all ages and experience levels through private lessons, workshops, university classrooms, clinics, and summer music programs. Bush Presidential Library & Museum, National Harbor, and other festivals and venues throughout the United States and Europe One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is watching students grow and achieve their goals. I have had students of all ages and levels ranging from 5yrs - 80yrs. Former students have gone on to attend Berklee College of Music, Brigham Young University (BYU), and Folsom Lake College, as well as prestigious programs such as the Monterey Next Generation Women in Jazz Combo. My teaching philosophy is simple: every student is unique. Whether you're picking up an instrument for the first time, learning your favorite songs, exploring improvisation, or pursuing advanced musical goals, I believe lessons should be engaging, encouraging, and tailored to your interests. When I'm not teaching, you'll usually find me performing, composing, recording, working in my yard, playing Stardew Valley on my Nintendo Switch, exploring estate sales with my partner Brian, or simply relaxing at home. I'm a firm believer that learning never stops, and I continue to grow as a musician every day.
