Hello, I'm Marguerite.
Hello! I am a dynamic communicator, physical theatre artist, educator, and clown. I hold an MFA in Physical Theatre & Devised Ensemble Work from Dell’Arte International (2020), with extensive training in corporeal mime, mask, clown, bouffon, acrobatics, dance, and aerial silks. My performance work spans cabarets and variety shows throughout California, and I have devised over ten original theatre works. In 2022, I co-produced and toured Jumella, an aerial silks and mask piece exploring the spirit’s search for transcendence, with my first company, Falling Object. Beyond the stage, my work centers on theatre as a tool for connection, communication, and social cohesion. Through interdisciplinary collaboration, I’ve partnered with organizations including the Integral Ecology Resource Center, the North Coast Indian Council, and the Farm Arts Collective, where our work was featured in The New York Times. In 2024, I launched a second company focused on bringing the tools of theatre into non-traditional spaces. My work emphasizes nonverbal communication, presence, confidence, and resilience—especially in the face of failure and loss. I’ve worked with organizations such as Stetson University College of Law, Miami-Dade County Public Schools, Nerd Nite St. Pete, and a range of local businesses in St. Petersburg, Florida. I am currently developing a three-month program for parents of neurodivergent children, using embodiment, expression, and clown to foster embodied awareness, support emotional regulation and build confidence. For young people, I teach: Resiliency & Connection – lessons from the art of clown Audience Awareness – how to captivate a room through speaking and performance The Physical Mask – foundations of physical acting and body awareness
