Hello, I'm Karron English.

Hello​,​ A little bit about me. I have a Masters of Fine Arts in fashion design from the Academy of Art University in California and I did my undergrads at Fashion Institute of technology in NYC. I was employed in the fashion industry in New York City for over 15 yers as a fashion designer. I designed ages and genders from children to adult. I have traveled extensively through out the world developing collections for various companies. Because of my love of fashion​,​ I started the English Design Laboratory. I now have a passion for nurturing young creatives. Specializing in working with kids and tweens​,​ I offer a hands-on​,​ approachable teaching style that makes the world of fashion design accessible and fun. With expertise in fashion illustration​,​ fabric selection​,​ sewing​,​ and digital design​,​ I guide students through every step of the design process—from initial inspiration to finished pieces. Emphasizing a casual approach to fashion​,​ I create a relaxed environment where young designers feel empowered to express their unique style. Incorporating sustainability into fashion​,​ I introduce Generation Alpha students to the importance of eco-friendly practices and conscious design choices. With activities focused on repurposing​,​ fabric exploration​,​ and designing with purpose​,​ I encourages students to think beyond trends and create with care.
