Introductory or practice class for young writers with an interest in storytelling. Students will be introduced to various character archetypes and roles, as well as character creation methods, to develop new characters or improve on existing ones step-by-step. Basic character psychology will be discussed to develop character's personalities, wants, fears, and behaviours. By the end of the session students will have a rounded, three-dimensional character that is perfect for their story, whether it be a hero, villain, or somewhere in between.
