Intro to Writing

A learning experience where we tackle to in-and-outs of getting your story started, what themes you wish to put into your story, and how you intend to convey what you are trying to say through metaphorical dialogue and creative thinking to challenge your audience. Whether you are new to this subject, or simply trying to better identify what works for you as a writer, all are welcome to see what it means to grow as a creative writer and engage with other people through creative mediums like writing.

Experience subject

This class covers many forms of writing, ranging from short stories and poetry, all the way to chapters in books and scripts for plays and other forms of media, like tv shows or movies. We begin at the core of the story, from the introduction all the way to the resolution of the story, helping the writers understand what each step means, before we then tackle the hero's journey and what that entails for the characters. Not only will covering this kind of content help you develop as a writer, but it will also help developing creative writers develop their craft and understand how their style of writing will help them evolve by bouncing ideas off of each other.
