Want to be your own Weird Al? What about the next Mel Brooks? Well, I'm not sure I can get you that far, but I can help make your parody writing better. Whether it's songs, sketches, or full movies you're interested in creating, I'll show you how to make them the funniest, cleverest, and legal...est they can be. Anyone can write a parody, technically, but not everyone can do it well. I'm here to put you ahead of the curve. The course will look at examples of successful and unsuccessful parodies from me and from others and what we can learn from them, with good writing exercises to help hone your abilities. If you have any parody work you want to workshop with me, I am happy to do that during our time too!
