In this fun and creative class, students will design and draw their own original characters through emotion and reference. We'll explore now feelings -like happiness, anger, shyness or bravery- can shape how a character looks including their facial expressions and overall style. Students will learn how to use visual references to guide their drawings; such as studying eyes, expressions, and features to improve their artwork. Students can draw digitally or use a sketchbook-both options are welcome.This class is beginner friendly but also great for students who already draw but want to improve. By the end of class students will have a completed original character and improved drawing skills.
