Learn how to make assets for video games like Fortnite!

Ever wondered what i takes to make some of your favorite and most popular games out there? On my courses you will learn how to get from creating an asset in Autodesk Maya and Substance Painter to importing and setting this asset up for success in UE5! I have worked on games like Fortnite with Epic Games having so much fun creating characters, props, environments and so much more! It I'd love to share my extensive knowledge on how to approach developing assets for these kinds of games and open the gate way to put all your great creative ideas into I am providing 1 on 1 and group experiences for beginners to teach Maya, Substance Painter and UE5's interface, tools, workflow and best practices and optimization when developing art for a game! If you would like to take things at your own pace, 1 on 1 would be best fit, otherwise group I would have a curriculum I intend to follow that goes like this: 6 Day WorkShop: Day 1: +Introduction to Maya's viewport and menu sets and taking a look at different layouts to provide a solid workspace for asset development. Going over how to hotkey menus and tools to expedite your workflow when it comes to modeling. Day 2: +Instructing students on how to create a basic model asset and UV techniques to get optimal texel density. Showing workflow of Hyper shade and breakdown of materials and their attributes. Teaching students how to prep asset for exporting for texturing and engine use. Day 3: +Introduction to Substance Painter and how to navigate and use smart materials, masking, painting and layering of an asset's material. Showing students how to bake textures and fix any and all artifacts that may occur from a bake. Helping students determine export settings for the textures of asset. Day 4: +Introduction to UE5's content browser and viewport along with optimal ways to manage and dock essential menus, and a look at how to start a project off with starting feature content related to your IP needs. Day 5: +Importing the asset we have developed with the help of Maya and Substance painter and going over how to optimize this asset for game development needs. We will focus on the material editor and go in depth on how to setup your textures as well as alter them to create a different look in a non-destructive workflow. Day 6: +Opening and Using example Scene​/​Project and breaking down components and how they are made in their entirety.
